How to Add, Edit, or Remove promos on individual vehicles

  1. Log in
  2. Navigate to SRP or VDP of vehicle you wish to edit.
  3. Right-click 'Edit' button.
    1. select 'Open in New Tab' or Open in New Window.'
  4. On Vehicle Edit screen, scroll down to Promo section.
  5. Select the correct Promo from the drop-down.
    1. Switch from Automatic to manually pick the promo.
    2. Switch to Automatic to have the promo apply via site rules.
      Note: see image below. Inventory will need to be updated.
  6. To turn Promo off, switch to 'Disabled'
  7. Click 'Save Changes' button under the pricing editing stack.
  8. Close Tab/Window
    Open the SRP or VDP and Refresh the page (CTRL+F5) to see/confirm the changes.
  9. You may need to update inventory to see changes.  



How to add, edit, or delete promos from the website


  1. Log in
  2. My Dashboard
  3. Dashboard Menu -> 'Promo Management Dashboard' 
  4. 'Add New' to add new promo option for the Vehicle Edit Screen 
  5. Scroll down to the bottom to see this screen, and fill out the following info:
    1. Add 'Name'
      NOTE: When adding an In-Transit promo, the In-Transit needs to have the dash, or else it will not work. This below will not auto-trigger the promo to apply,but this will:
    2. Add a 'Description': This is the text that will pop up in the modal when hovering over the promo on SRP.
    3. Add Image to the 'Image Path'
      1. The lower the Res/MB the faster the page will load.
    4. Check if Active (unchecked= inactive)
      1. In the Dashboard, Active will show Green
      2. In the Dashboard, Inactive will show Red
    5. Enable Promo Expiration: If this is a temporary promo that we're adding to vehicles (like monthly ones), check this to set expiration by date or number of days.
      1. If checked, the following menu opens to fill out
        1. Select 'Expiration Type:' either 'By Date' or 'By Day'
        2. By Date - Select the date that you want the promo running through the end of the day that day. 
          1. Click on the Date and it will pull up a calendar for selection.
          2. For example, You set the date to run until 3/28/2025 on 3/29/2025 00:00 am, the criteria will not longer be fullfilled so the promo will drop off the next time inventory is run, which usually takes place in the early morning hours, eastern.
          3. Promo swaps back to Automatic once expired
        3. By Day - Enter Number of Days for the Promo to stay on a particular unit.
          1. When promos are added automatically, the start date for the count, is the day the unit comes into our system/on the site.
          2. For example, we have a rule to add an APR promo for 15 days to Mustang Mach-Es and a new one comes in stock, the date used to mark the start of the 15 days is from the date it comes into the site.
          3. Promo swaps back to Automatic once expired
      2. Back at the Promo Manager dashboard, it will show you if 'Expiration' on a promo is enabled or not. 
    6. Click 'Add' button to add promo.
      1. Back at the Promo Manager dashboard, shows the number of vehicles the promo image has been applied to.
      2. Clicking on the number will take you to an SRP page showing the vehicles.

    7. Click Cancel to exit the form, Note: you lose all progress if 'Add' button is NOT clicked 
  6. Click the pencil to edit:
    1. You can change anything in the box areas (the Name, Description, Image). 
    2. The 'Active' status 
      1. Checked = Green = Active (live on the site)
      2. Unchecked = Red = Inactive (not live and not available from the vehicle edit screen)
    3. Promo Expiration - change the date or disable it altogether. 
    4. Click 'Update' to change your edits or 'Cancel Update' to not save the changes made.
  7. Click Trash Can to delete
    1. It will request confirmation. Press 'Ok' to continue with deletion
    2. Press 'Cancel' to not delete.
