Steps to follow to put a disclaimer on different web pages (see 3.6 below) when customers put in their phone numbers:

  1. Log in --> My Dashboard

  2. Site Config --> Website Configuration
  3. Under Configuration Tab, search (CTRL + F) 'opt-in' until you get to, "Enable Opt-in..."

    1. 'Enable Opt-In Form Compliance' needs to be checked for the info in the 'Opt-In Compliance Disclaimer' to show up on the website.
    2. Check 'Enable Auto Opt-In' if you want the Opt-In to be automatically checked rather than the customer checking it themselves.
    3. 'Opt-In Compliance Disclaimer' is where to put the wording wanted for the disclaimer.
    4. Check the box for 'Show Short Text for Opt-In Disclaimer' if you decide to do a shortened text for the disclaimer. 
    5. Usually the Short Text for Opt-In Disclaimer may say something small and then say 'Click for more details.'
    6. Check the places you want to enable the opt-in compliance for...
      1. Finance: Our forms for Online Credit approval
      2. Schedule Service: Our form, similar to Finance
      3. Contact Us: /dealership-info/hours-and-directions
      4. Parts: Our form
      5. Check Availability: found on VDPs. Click 'Check Availability'
      6. Custom: found on a custom form
      7. Register: when customers register for a User Account
      8. Chat | Text button
