The email you receive should look something like this.

  1. Download all files in email. There should be two. In-Stock inventory and In-Transit Inventory
  2. One more file needs to be found. Head to Homenet -> Lafayette Ford

    1. Set filter on Homenet to show only New
    2. Export file as excel document.

  3. Now that you have all 3 Excel Files. Go to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k89F4Px-8h1oePDzzBr39cyqYj3LYQR0Fvls0XNBbBw/edit#gid=1235807865
    1. This document already has all the formulas you will need. You just need to grab the VIN Column from each excel document.
    2. Make a duplicate of the most recent inventory check

    3. Delete the information on all 3 VIN columns

  4. Copy the entire VIN column from each excel document.

  5. Drop them onto their respective columns in the google doc.

  6. Once every VIN Column is where it needs to be. The formulas will populate the squares with green and red respectively. The VINs with red squares need to be checked on Homenet.

  7. To Check these VINs on Homenet we need to go to the Deleted Vehicles Reports Page.
  8. Now we must determine whether these VINs were sold or if they are missing.

    1. This means the vehicle was sold.

    2. This means the vehicle is missing.

  9. Once you have sorted all the vehicles by sold or missing. We must now determine if the missing vehicles were missing last time as well. Head to the Google Doc and go to the previous date the inventory was checked. This column will contain the missing vehicles, compare them to the current missing vehicles. If any match, mark them red.

  10. You are ready to report your findings.
This what the email will look like.
